What initially began as a department-level initiative soon expanded into a multidisciplinary club, welcoming students from all branches who share a deep interest in automotive design and development.
KK-MOTORSPORTS is a space where passion transforms into real engineering. Students here do not merely study vehicles from textbooks—they design it, analyze it, build it and finally test it on the track. The opportunity to work on real machines such as go-karts, quad bikes, ATVs, and electric prototypes gives students a unique exposure rarely found at the undergraduate level. From conceptual sketches to simulations, from fabrication to assembly, and from test runs to competitive racing, every stage becomes a learning journey.
A defining strength of our club is its student-driven organizational structure. Team members handle all technical and managerial responsibilities, including design analysis, manufacturing, simulation, procurement, finance management, logistics, and driver training. This system empowers students to take responsibility, make decisions, and experience engineering beyond the classroom. One of our proudest moments came when Team Nemesis secured All India Rank (AIR-1) at the EDGLLINE 2024 event. The team excelled in crucial segments such as Design, Cost Report, and Endurance, showcasing exceptional engineering precision, efficient planning, and outstanding on-track performance.
Similarly, Team Brahmastra Quad represented us at the QBDC (Quad Bike Design Challenge) and QUADTORC (ISNEE) events and achieved All India Rank 1, along with multiple awards in technical and dynamic subcategories. Their quad bike distinguished itself through structural strength, stability, and innovative engineering solutions.
Another remarkable accomplishment was delivered by Team Brahmastra Racing at the prestigious SAE BAJA Competition. The team won laurels in Design, Sales & Marketing, Technology Implementation, and Innovation—a true demonstration of creativity, endurance, and technical mastery in one of India’s toughest engineering challenges.
Adding to this legacy, Team Nikola Racing secured AIR-1 at the Electric Two-Wheeler Design Challenge (ETWDC) Championship, winning awards in several categories and reinforcing the club’s reputation for dominating national-level motorsports competitions.
These achievements not only motivate current members but also inspire newcomers to dream bigger and challenge themselves further. By participating in reputed events like (Indian Karting Race (IKR), BAJA SAEINDIA, SUPRA SAEINDIA, QBDC (Quad Bike Design Challenge), QUADTORC, and Edglline, students gain invaluable experience in automotive engineering, financial management, design reviews, technical inspections, and competitive racing. Such exposure prepares them for careers in the automotive sector, motor sports, research, manufacturing, and emerging mobility technologies.
