International Facilitation Center

K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik has established an International Facilitation Centre (IFC) for guiding and motivating the students for study abroad. Also the centre will be playing a vital role in guiding the students for job opportunities at abroad and train the students for foreign languages

The activities of International Facilitation Centre are conducted under the guidance of Principal, Dr. K. N. Nandurkar and Training and Placement Officer Dr. P. K. Shahbadkar. The activities are conducted by IFC Cordinator and Co-coordinators, whose details are as follows,

Mission and Purpose

To provide best possible guidance to students for higher study abroad.
To guide students through the process of identifying the courses best suited to them on individual strengths, needs and aspirations.
To make aware the students about the lifestyle and culture of abroad study destinations from our Abroad Alumni Network

Objectives

To do effective counseling of students for higher study abroad.
To assist students in finding courses those are best suited to them by applying a holistic approach.
To ensure that student should provide complete and accurate information about Universities, Courses of study and their study destinations
To explore the international internship opportunities to the students
To explore the opportunities of staff-student exchange, joint research and publications with foreign universities

IET-UK Delegates

Dr. Ravindra Munje and Dr. Prashant Kushare attended an event where they had the privilege of listening to and meeting the President of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Dr. Gopichand Katragadda, who also happened to be the first-ever Indian president of the 152-year-old organization.

Dr. Ravindra Munje and Dr. Prashant Kushare attended a meeting with Kelly Bishop, Global Communities Lead, Joanne Longton, Senior Community Manager, Tom Hlaing, CRC Chair, and Richard Furey from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) during the President's Address in Bangalore on November 6th, 2023. It was a great experience to connect with them.

An online session on “Guidance for study in UK” by Mr. Rutuja Baviskar on Saturday, 14th October 2023 at 1:00 PM

An online session on the topic “My preparations and experience of getting admitted in German University” by Mr. Rajat Chavan, Graduate Student at Ingolstadt, Germany and Alumnus of KKWIEER, Mechanical Department on 16 February 2024 at 3.00 PM through an Online platform of Zoom.

"Experience sharing by students who had done International Internships at Dubai" by Mr. Rohan Shidlambe and Mr. Krishna Kasat and Dr. A. S. Patil, IFC Coordinator of KKWIEER, Nashik on 4 May 2024 at 2.30 PM

KKWIEER, Nashik has signed MoU with Rishab Instruments Nashik and University of Zielona Gora, Poland on 20th February 2024. Principal Dr. K. N. Nandurkar, CEO of Rishab Instruments Mr. Deepak Musalekar and Ms. Justyna Patalas, Prorektor of University of Zielona Gora (in online manner) were present during this occasion along with all Head of Departments.

KKWIEER, Nashik has signed MoU with School of Natural Science, Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, South Korea. Principal Dr. K. N. Nandurkar and Dr. R. N. Bulakhe, Research Professor, SKKU, South Korea, Dr. A. C. Pawar, Head, Science department were present along with other staff.

Shri. Jayant Sathe (Board Member, IUCEE) visited our institute and interacted with Dean, Head of departments, staff and students of the institute. He has also done interaction with industry representatives in AICTE Idea Lab of our institute on 27th March 2024

Dr. Ashok N. Ullal, Professor Emeritus and former Dean of the School of International Business at Reutlingen University, Germany trained the faculty of KKWIEER on Information Technology, Business Simulations, and Intercultural Communication and Negotiation with business simulation tool iBizSim.
