Silver Jubilee Alumni Meet Celebrated with enthusiasm at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik

The ‘K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik’ proudly celebrated its Silver Jubilee Alumni Meet on Saturday, 4th April 2026, with a great grandeur and nostalgia on campus. The event marked 25 years of excellence in academic achievements and professional accomplishments of its graduates from 2000 and 2001.

Alumni of Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Civil, and Production Engineering Departments, across the nation gathered to reconnect with their alma mater, faculty members, and fellow classmates. The campus was filled with excitement as former students revisited their classrooms, laboratories, and memorable spots that shaped their journey.

The celebration began with a formal inauguration ceremony, where the Director of the Institute Dr. K. N. Nandurkar, Shri. Ajinkya Wagh Director (Public Relations) and senior faculty members welcomed the alumni. In his address, Director Dr. Nandurkar highlighted the Institute’s growth over the past 25 years and appreciated the significant contributions of alumni in various industries, research, and entrepreneurship. Coordinator of Alumni Association, Dr. P. J. Pawar briefed the audience on various activities of alumni association.

Alumni Shri. Vijay Patil (Director, Maestrotech, Pune), Shri. Gautam Shrivastava (Consultant, Contour Projects Solutions), Shri. Sandeep Kulkarni (Schneider Electric Ltd., Nashik), and Shri. Deepak Somvanshi (Director, TMF Group) shared their experiences, appreciated the remarkable progress made by the Institute and also provided valuable suggestions for the further development of the Institute.

Deans and Heads of Departments of K. K. Wagh Institute were present on this occasion. The event was organized under the valuable guidance of the Honourable Chairman of K. K. Wagh Education Society, Mr. Sameer Wagh.

A major highlight of the meet was the announcement of new alumni initiatives, including scholarships for deserving students and funding support for innovative student projects.

The celebration concluded with a networking lunch, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a renewed sense of belonging to their alma mater. More than 60 alumni participated in this event.

The Silver Jubilee Alumni Meet not only celebrated the institution’s legacy but also reinforced the strong bond between the college and its alumni, paving the way for future collaborations and continued success.
