Every journey has a story behind it—moments of doubt, sparks of inspiration, and the steady steps that carry us forward. Today, I’m sharing mine—not just as a reflection of success, but as a tribute to where it all began. My story began in the hallways of Rachana Vidyalaya, Nashik, where I completed my 10th in 2015, where I learned that life, like sports, requires both strategy and sweat. As a National-level baseball player and State-level softball player, I lived for the game. But I never let my books gather dust; I scored 91% in board exam.
That balance followed me to H.P.T Arts and R.Y.K. Science College Nashik, where I completed my 12th. In 12th grade, I gave up sports thinking I should only focus on studies. This backfired because sports was stress buster for me. This created imbalance in my life that only made things harder and my grades suffered. However, during this time, I discovered a deep love for Sanskrit. While my overall score was 75%, I achieved a perfect 100/100 in Sanskrit and became the State Topper. It was a period of exploration where I realized that I could master anything I set my heart on.
After that, I entered K.K. Wagh College of agricultural Engineering and Technology, Nashik for B.Tech (Agri.). I didn't just study; I grew. The college gave me a safe space to fail, the resources to learn, and the confidence to lead.
It wasn't just about the lectures or the labs; it was about the culture of persistence. The rigorous academic environment taught me the value of hard work, while the diverse student community taught me the power of collaboration, and I graduated with an 8.38 CGPA. Driven to do more, I secured Rank 8 in the MCAER entrance exam, leading me to MPKV Rahuri for my Masters.
Specializing in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, I wanted my research to be more than just a thesis. I developed an innovative scale to evaluate watershed development programs across India—a tool designed to ensure that every drop of water and every inch of soil and every single rupee of country is used to its fullest potential.
My father, a man of deep discipline, gave me a single compass for my career when I was in 9th standard.-"Choose any path you desire, but let 'Social Service' be your only motive."
Today, I have realized the dream that started in those farm fields. By clearing the MPSC exam and becoming an Agriculture Officer, I haven't just earned a title; I have earned the opportunity to serve. I am going to use my technical expertise in engineering to empower the farmers I grew up beside.
My journey from a student-athlete to an officer is a testament to the fact that when you pair a disciplined mind with a heart for service, the harvest is always plenty. Every bit of this success is rooted in the knowledge, values, and support I received during my undergraduate journey at KK Wagh College. I’m deeply thankful to my teachers, mentors, friends, and my family who believed in me at every step.
This is just the beginning. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned—it’s that belief, effort, and gratitude can take you anywhere.
