Sameer B Wagh is a blend of technocrat, educationist, philanthropist and visionary who has truly inherited the legacy of his late grandfather Padma Shri Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh and late father Balasaheb Wagh (Bhau). He is an established and sought-after consultant for chemical plants with several successful assignments to his credit over the past 25 years. He is a Chemical Engineer from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (formerly UDCT Mumbai) and holds the position of Managing Director at Sameer Chemcon Engineers Pvt Ltd & K K Wagh Consulting India Pvt Ltd.
Presently, he is the Chairman of the K K Wagh Education Society, Nashik. A leading Education Society with over 30 institutes, K K Wagh offers courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, School Education (State Board and CBSE), Fine Art, and Performing Art along with traditional Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Science. A firm believer in the true value of quality education, he seeks to nurture and empower the youth with quality education in the urban and rural areas of Maharashtra. Given his vision for society empowerment and authentic leadership, he has been unanimously elected as President of the three state-level associations, namely, Association of the Managements of Un-aided Engineering Colleges Maharashtra, Association of the Managements of Polytechnics and Association of the Managements of Agriculture & Agriculture Allied Colleges.
