B.Sc. (Agri.), M.Sc (Agri.) from Pune University and Ph.D. (Plant Philosophy), Penn State University. Vast experience in Sugarcane Production and Management. Director, Vasantdada Sugar Institute (VSI), Pune for 8 yrs. He was a Sugarcane specialist at MP Agriculture University, Chairman of Research Advisory Committee, Vice President of Deccan Sugar Technologist Association, Pune since 1977. He has written 5 books, 188 research papers, and more than 260 popular articles.

B.E. Civil, M. Sc. (Engg.) and Ph.D. (Education). He started his career as a lecturer in Government Polytechnic, Pune. Later on he became HOD and principal and was deputed to T.T.I. Bhopal. He worked as a co-ordinator of NITTTRs extension center, Pune from 1980 to 1999. He was involved in reforms of the diploma curriculum. He co-ordinated the World Bank Assistance Project in Maharashtra, and also worked as a consultant to MSBTE for the development of Computerized Question Bank. Dr. Vaidya expired on 11/07/2009.

Born in an agricultural rural family he graduated in Civil Engineering from University of Pune securing first rank and a gold medal. He joined the irrigation department of the Government of Maharashtra & served in various capacities. Managed the work of Maharashtra Water & Irrigation Commission in the capacity of Chief Engineer and Secretary and drafted commission voluminous reports (2000+ pages). He handled the Interstate River Valley project and received the Vanashri Award. He is also associated with several professional organizations like Sinchan Sahayog, Eitihas Panchayat, Vidya Parishad etc.

Dr. Mahajani completed his B. Tech. and Ph.D. (Tech.) in Chemical Engineering and Post-Doctoral work at the University of Cambridge (UK). Dr. Mahajani superannuated as Professor of Chemical Engineering at ICT (UDCT) Matunga, Mumbai. He is a Process Consultant to leading organizations and an Advisor for the Rajiv Gandhi Science & Technology Commission (RGSTC), Government of Maharashtra. He has supervised 12 Ph.D. and 58 ME/M.Tech. candidates and has written over 80 research articles in International and National Journals.

Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bombay. Dr. Gaitonde completed B.Tech. and Ph.D. (Mechanical) from the same institute with a specialization in thermodynamics, heat transfer and Energy Conservation. Since 1980 he is associated with IITB, and has supervised seven doctorate and 50 Master’s thesis. He has worked as Head MED, Professor-in-Charge (Alumni Affairs), and Chairman of GATE 1995.
