The annual social gathering “Maffick 2023” for A.Y.2022-23 of institute was organized from 24th February to 28th February 2023. Principal Dr. K. N. Nandurkar along with all Deans and HODs inaugurated “Maffick 2023” on 24th February 2023. The theme of Maffick for this year was “e-Volution Unfolding Education”. Various cultural events and activities were conducted during Maffick 2023. Different competitions like Rangoli, Poster and Sketching were organized on 24th February. A new event Open Mic an open stage activity was organized inside the Institute open space area for all staff and students to showcase their various cultural talents like singing, poetry, mimicry, etc. On second day, 25th February Group Day was celebrated by students and soft skill competitions like Elocution, Quiz and Debate were also organized. On same day, lunch was organized for staff and students followed by a musical program of Marathi songs “Nakshatranche Dene” performed by a group of students. Traditional Day was celebrated on 27th February by students and a group of NSS volunteers also presented “Lezim” performance in the Institute campus. Cultural programs like Singing, Drama, Dance, Fashion Show and Personality Contest were organized in pendol on 27th and 28th February. Corporate Day / Saree Day was celebrated by the students on 28th February. The Prize Distribution ceremony of Maffick 2023 was held on 28th February. A student of Electrical Engineering, Miss. Shrushti Pawar was awarded with the Best Outgoing Student for A.Y.2022-23 of the Institute. For gracing this ceremony, Mr. Shubhra Talukdar (Senior Manager, Technology Controls Optimization HSBC and alumnus of Mechanical Engineering department - 2004 batch of the institute) was invited as Chief Guest. The personnels from Epiroc company Ms. Issa Gabrielson, Mr. Arvind Patil and Ms. Pallavi Pande were also present for this prize distribution function. A third-year topper student of Production Engineering department, Ms. Gauri Sontakke was felicitated by Epiroc company and she was offered with job this company.
