The Department of Chemical Engineering successfully organized the Second One Week International Faculty Development Programme (Online) on “Advanced Research Trends for Green and Sustainable Development (ARTGSD-2026)” from 23rd to 28th February 2026. The programme focused on emerging research areas related to green technologies, sustainable development, artificial intelligence applications in Chemical Engineering, and environmental protection. Expert lectures were delivered by distinguished speakers from international universities, IITs, IISERs, and reputed research organizations. The sessions covered important topics such as CO₂ capture technologies, green hydrogen production, advanced functional materials, AI-driven process optimization, and sustainable engineering practices. The FDP received an overwhelming response with 143 participants, including international participants from the USA, Germany, Portugal, Oman, Denmark, Australia, and Bangladesh, making it a truly global academic event. The programme was organized under the guidance of Convener Dr. S. N. Jain, with Coordinator Dr. Yennam Rajesh and Co-Coordinator Prof. V. N. Mawal. The FDP was successfully completed with active participation, interactive discussions, and positive feedback from all attendees.
