HOD's Message,

Professional education plays an essential role in today’s dynamic environment. The Industrial sector is entirely dependent upon the availability of the trained managers to perform the multidimensional activities needed to keep the wheel of industry running. For this purpose, there is a need that the educational institutes impart relevant, current &cutting-edge knowledge to the students. Keeping in view these facts, the Management Program has been started in the year 2008 with the name of Department of Management Studies.

The Department offers a two-year full-time MBA Program with the intake capacity of 60 students per year. The program has been framed with emphasis on developing analytical thinking, creativity, imagination & team work among the students. It seeks to provide a platform to nurture the talent, to hone the skills & to mold an individual into a resourceful & perceptual professional. Here theoretical knowledge coupled with practical training captures the essence of Versatility. The Department offers following specializations:

  • Marketing Management (MKT)
  • Financial Management (FIN)
  • Human Resources Management (HRM)
  • Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM)

The Department has a blend of experienced and young faculty members with Industry exposure. The Department has 8 full time faculty members specialized in different disciplines and visiting faculty members. The Department has also established a student’s association named ‘Management Studies Student’s Association’. The association organizes various activities such as Workshops, Expert-Talks, Events, and Seminars & Industrial Visits.
