Brief Profile

Dr. P. J. Pawar is a Professor and Head of the Department of Robotics and Automation at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik. He holds Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering, (SVNIT Surat), M. E. in Mechanical Engineering (Government College of Engineering, Karad), and B. E. in Production Engineering (K. K. Wagh College of Engineering, Nashik). With extensive academic and research experience, his areas of expertise include Robotics and Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Optimization Techniques and Computational Intelligence. His research interests include the application of soft computing techniques to engineering and manufacturing applications. He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences and has been actively involved in research, academic administration, industry interaction, innovation and institutional development. He is also associated with professional bodies and contributes to various initiatives aimed at promoting emerging technologies and excellence in engineering education.
