F.Y. B. Tech Project Exhibition Cum Contest
The Department of Applied Science in association with AICTE-IDEA LAB of K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research organised F.Y. B. Tech project Exhibition cum contest on Wednesday, 4th June, 2025.
The inauguration ceremony of the competition was graced by the presence of the institution's Director, Dr. K.N. Nandurkar, along with esteemed guest judges Prof. Vishal Shinde and Dr. Pankaj Wani. Director Dr. K.N. Nandurkar reviewed various new initiatives being implemented for the benefit of students and provided invaluable guidance on how engineering students can use science and technology to promote development for the betterment of humanity through creativity and imagination.The contribution of internal judges Prof. S.N. Shukla, Dr. Darshan V. Medhane, Prof. P.R. Rahane, and Prof. Nayana Jangle was particularly significant in evaluating the projects and encouraging student innovation. Dr. A.W.M.H. Ansari, Dr. G. B. Dabhade and Prof. R.S. Patil coordinated this event under the guidance of Dr. V. K. Patil, F.Y. Coordinator and Dr. A.C. Pawar, HoD. Applied Science.
The main objective of the project exhibition was to promote scientific and technical creativity among the students of First Year B.Tech. In the academic year 2024-25, students had prepared 150 projects from various disciplines under the subject of Engineering Exploration. While preparing these projects, the students were assisted by project coordinator and all department heads gave guidance. Division wise project competition was held and from each division best of 2 projects were selected thus total 35 Projects were selected for competition.
