F.Y. B. Tech Project Exhibition Cum Contest
The Department of Applied Science in association with AICTE-IDEA LAB of K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research organized F.Y. B. Tech Project Exhibition cum Contest on Friday, 22nd May, 2026.
The inauguration ceremony of the competition was graced by the presence of the institution's Principal, Dr. K.N. Nandurkar, along with guest judges Dr. Vinod S. Khairnar, HoD, Engineering Sciences, MET Institute of Engineering, Nashik, and Dr. Sarika Madhukar Jagtap, E&Tc Department, KBT College of Engineering, Nashik. Principal Dr. K.N. Nandurkar appreciated the innovative projects presented by the students and emphasized the importance of research aptitude, innovation, and skill-based learning in today's technology-driven era. He highlighted that such project competitions provide a platform for students to showcase their technical skills, creativity, and enhance their confidence. The contribution of internal judges Dr. Darshan V. Medhane and Prof. Sarvesh Sukhatme was particularly significant in evaluating the projects and encouraging student innovation. The event was organized under the valuable guidance of Dr. P.D. Bhamare, Dr. R.K. Munje, and Dr. Sunil Kute. Dr. A.W.M.H. Ansari, Dr. G.B. Dabhade and Prof. Monali Kshirsagar coordinated this event under the guidance of Dr. Vilas Patil, F.Y. B.Tech Coordinator and Dr. A. C. Pawar, HoD, Applied Science.
The main objective of the project exhibition was to promote scientific and technical creativity among the students of First Year B.Tech. In the academic year 2025-26, students had prepared 150 projects from various disciplines under the subject of Engineering Exploration. While preparing these projects, the students were assisted by project coordinators and all department heads provided guidance. Out of 150 projects, 37 outstanding projects were selected for exhibition and competition.
